Livability Victoria Horticulture in Poole offers accessible horticultural training for people with disabilities. Participants learn skills ranging from gardening to creating items for sale from produce.

Livability Victoria Horticulture is a Learning and Vocation service run by Livability, the disability charity that connects people with their communities.

Livability Learning and Vocation services have proven expertise in supporting disabled and vulnerable people pursue vocational interests, new skills and employment opportunities. We enable people to launch their own businesses, get interview training and grow core life skills and competencies.

Livability  Victoria Horticulture places are funded by local authority referrals and payments, direct payments or personal payments.

Our approach

We provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which is accessible to all our students and provides smooth progression and continuity from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to post-16. The school has flexible residential facilities for students, with weekly, fortnightly, termly and 52-week boarders, plus a registered children’s home.

We are proud to be winners of the Digital innovation/ed-tech school of the year award at the prestigious 2017 TES Schools Awards.
