Virgin Money London Marathon 2020

The London Marathon was postponed from 26 April 2020 to 4 October 2020 due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) global pandemic. On 6 August London Marathon Events announced this event will not be able to take part as a mass participation event, though an elite field will still run on Sunday 4 October 2020.

We shall update this page shortly with information about the 2020 Virtual London Marathon that will take place on Sunday 4 October, along with details on the 2021 London Marathon that will take place on Sunday 3 October 2021.

This year celebrates the 40th London Marathon, in this year where the world has truly come together.

You can be part of this special event, following in the footsteps of elite athletes and fun-runners alike as you pass iconic landmarks culminating in the world-famous finish line on The Mall.

Here’s how you can join #TeamLivability in the 2020 London Marathon:

Golden Bond: due to overseas #TeamLivability runners having to withdraw from this years’ marathon we have a handful of prized Golden Bond places available in return for your pledge to raise at least £1,750 for us. Please complete the Application Form below to apply.

Livability is on the frontline of this pandemic, providing care, nursing, education and support to disabled people who are the most vulnerable in this crisis. Our services are a lifeline for those who use our services and for the NHS.
