This September take on Rourke Cycles Cat & Fiddle Virtual Challenge and be part of the nation’s favourite charity bike ride!
Complete your 55-mile cycle on the road or an exercise bike, in a day or a month – it’s your challenge so your rules.
Whatever your route, age, ability or where you are in the world, it’s easy to join us on this cycle challenge, and what a great way to look after your physical and mental wellbeing too whilst supporting disabled and vulnerable people who are most at risk from the effects of this global pandemic.
Rourke Cycles said “This year we’re hosting the event virtually due to the impact of coronavirus (Covid-19). This way we can still come together in a way that’s safe for everyone to have fun, stay fit and most importantly raise much needed money for our charity partner, Livability.”
Here’s how you can be part of the action:
2) Share and ask family, friends and colleagues to join you
3) Complete your 55-mile cycle during September
4) Upload your miles to claim your digital medal, finisher’s frame, certificate followed by a fabulous commemorative die-cast medal
Rourke Cycles Cat & Fiddle Challenge has been expertly organised since 2002 by Rourke Cycles who add “we hope to see our event return to wheels on the ground next year, with our traditional challenging route including the legendary 7-mile Cat and Fiddle climb. With home-made goodies and cuppa on your return, no wonder it’s a staple in many cyclists’ diary.”
Livability are thrilled to be the official charity partner again in 2020, receiving all proceeds from this virtual challenge.
Road or static bike, and if you don’t have those please join us on rollerblades, scooter or skateboard, trainers or treadmill – whatever your mode, we’ll support you all the way to your virtual finish-line!
